The pioneer of franchising industry, Franchise India has introduced a niche concept of the Entrepreneur Cafe in New Delhi, a place where corporate expats and other professionals can join up with each other, conduct meetings in a casual atmosphere, for more easiness. Entrepreneur Cafe helps businesses to be incubated and running business to expand.
The first one has come up in Delhi. Franchise India plans to set up cafes in Gurgaon and Mumbai too this year.
“India is at the cusp of innovation and entrepreneurship, but the ecosystem is not nurturing enough,” says Gaurav Marya, Chairman, Franchise India. There are not many places where an entrepreneur can go to for help. While incubation centres exist in IIMs and IITs, they are often tech-centric. Entrepreneur cafés will especially focus on retail and services, which is set for good growth in the country, he adds further.
Anyone who walks into the cafe will be met with in-house consultants who will do the initial hand-holding, before putting them on to experts in the field.
The Entrepreneur Café will provide a platform for start-ups and entrepreneurs to interact with experts and get advice on a host of issues related to running a business, such as trademark registration, licensing and company incorporation. It will assist with logo design, financial planning and even finding the right property. The café will host regular open forum and discussions with mentors.
In present economic era, big challenges faced by start-ups and growing firms are fund raising, strategy formation, technological, productivity, non availability of skilled labour, competition management etc. Entrepreneur cafe will provide solutions to these challenges.
Some of the services provided include – business advisory services (Strategy building, legal and documentation support, fund raising support, expansion strategy ,revival strategy for sick units, Exit and Resale Strategies), operational services (Operations Plan, productivity Optimization planning ,staff Training, Accounting and Tax Services, Export and trade Promotion plan and execution, Technology Consulting and setup) and incorporation services.
Gaurav Marya, Chairman, Franchise India said, "This innovative concept of bringing professionals together at one place for all their business requirements is a wonderful idea that can turn out to be a new trend in the corporate world and change the way business is conducted.
