As a part of this association, TinyOwl will have an experience zone at the stadium during the Mumbai Indian matches.
TinyOwl, a Mumbai based food ordering app, has partnered with Mumbai Indians for the eighth edition of the mega tournament starting from 8th April, 2015.
Harsh Vardhan Mandad, CEO & Co-founder, TinyOwl, said, "Mumbai is as much a home ground for us as it is for millions of cricket fans in the city. With this association, we are looking forward to joining the IPL revelry, connect with our food loving fans and get them to know us better."
As a part of this association, TinyOwl will have an experience zone at the stadium during the Mumbai Indian matches. “With a strong focus on reaching out to the digital savvy population of Mumbai, TinyOwl will have a host of online engagements with exciting rewards for the food loving Mumbai Indian fan,” said the official release.
TinyOwl was launched in 2014 by IIT graduate, Harsh Vardhan Mandad, CEO, along with four other founders. He oversees all aspects of product development and marketing and leads the strategy and progress path for TinyOwl. The food ordering app currently provides services in multiple areas in the Western and Central suburbs of the city with over 4,000 restaurants on board.
“The core proposition of the brand is to provide instant gratification to hungry souls with a few simple taps on their mobile devices and help them bypass the traditional and long drawn food ordering process,” said the company.
Tiny Owl recently raised Rs.100 Crore from Sequoia, Matrix capital & Nexus Venture partners. Since its inception, the company has been on a path of rapid growth and is targeting associations with 5500 restaurants in Mumbai and presence in 50 cities by the end of 2015.
“The feature that differentiates TinyOwl from other similar apps is the minimalistic, tactile and efficient interface of the application. It automatically detects your location or gives you the choice to type in another location. It then offers you a wide choice of restaurants with varied cuisines where you can order from across different price points,” stated the company’s release.
