A Chartered Accountant by profession, Mr. Bhatija brings with him rich work experience to Inorbit Malls. Now, poised at the helm of the ambitious Inorbit Malls ship, Mr. Bhatija’s sheer commitment and perseverance have helped Inorbit create a benchmark in the market over the past years. His astute leadership and forward-looking vision have played a significant role in making Inorbit’s foray in Vashi, Cyberabad, Pune & Whitefield a success. He is now looking forward in establishing Inorbit as India’s largest shopping center company by expanding its footprint across India.
Well established as a thorough professional, with his in-depth exposure and knowledge owing to his 27 years of work experience, 15 years of which were with the undivided Raheja Group first and later with the K Raheja Construction Group. During his stint at Inorbit Malls since 2008, Mr. Bhatija has won several accolades on National and International platforms. He has been awarded as ‘The Most Admired Shopping Professional of the year’ for two consecutive years, in the 2010 and 2011at the CMO Awards. He was also felicitated as ‘The Retail Icon’ of the year 2010 at the Asia Retail Congress.
The stint at K Raheja Construction Group saw Mr. Bhatija being instrumental in setting up an effective operational system with the strength of over 20 employees in Chennai. As Vice President of the organization he was not only responsible for the successful marketing of a 400, 000 sq ft composite mall at Andheri (W) but also for the designing of a million sq ft mall at Malad.
Apart from these, Mr. Bhaitja has also serviced brands like Grasim Industries where was actively involved in setting up the Viscose Rayon Plant in Indonesia, then the largest Greenfield project overseas of the Group. This was followed by a stint in Hindustan Motors Limited (HM) where he began as Executive Assistant to the Executive Vice President but swiftly rose to Deputy Head of Finance & Accounts within a short span of time. His last assignment was with Emaar MGF Land. Ltd, where he served as Head-Business Development (West) across multiple verticals including Retail, Residential, Commercial, Hotel and Townships.
