Ms. Sonia
Director, Aroma Thai Spa

Sonia Yamdagni is a Founding Director of Aromathai Spa, India’s leading Thai Massage Spa chain.

Born in Bhilwara Rajasthan, Sonia grew up in Bangkok, Thailand and completed her high school there. Sonia is a BCom (Hons) graduate from LSR, Delhi University and gained her MBA from BIMTECH.

In 2000, she launched an online business of retailing contact lenses and cosmetics in Thailand which has grown to become the country’s largest retailer of contact lenses.

In Aug, 2008, Sonia formed a partnership with 3 NRIs based in Bangkok to launch the first Aromathai Spa in Mumbai. Three years later and with one additional partner, Aromathai Spa today self-operates 13 profitable outlets in Mumbai, Delhi, Gurgaon, Kolkata and Pune.

Sonia heads Business Development for the Aromathai Spa group.
