Mr. Ajay Ramasubramaniam is the Director, Zone Startups India-where he manages the startup accelerator program and its initiatives, as well as the stakeholder engagement relations. Ajay has over a decade of work experience in market strategy, international business development and key client accounts relationship, across varied sectors and within a multi-cultural work environment.

Ajay is an MBA in Marketing & Finance and a B.Com in Financial Management from Mumbai University. He began his career working in Tanzania (East Africa) for 4 years, where he was involved in World Bank and African Development Bank projects, and was the team leader for initiating and executing an employment generating business within the agri-inputs value chain.

Prior to Zone Startups India, he worked for the Government of Ontario, Canada for 5-years, where he was responsible for bilateral trade and investment relations between Ontario and India.
