Anirudh Kumar, Investment Professional at Matrix Partners, is an MBA from The Indian School of Business (ISB), Hyderabad and a graduate in Economics from University of Delhi. He has operating experience across a wide variety of functional areas, including business strategy, general management, digital marketing and entrepreneurship. He is extremely passionate about the Indian internet ecosystem and has a deep understanding of what it takes for an internet business in India to achieve sustainable growth.

Anirudh started his career with McKinsey & Company, post which he setup and successfully ran a bootstrapped internet services business focused on the US real estate and e-commerce sectors for close to 3 years.

Prior to joining Matrix, Anirudh was leading digital marketing and user growth for Snapdeal, India's largest e-commerce marketplace. Under his leadership, Snapdeal saw a 25X growth in mobile app adoption, massive transaction growth, and a steady increase in customer retention
