Susmitha Lakkakula is the Founder of Cloudtailor, a D2C mobile app that enables personalized fashion styling, fashion visualisation, recommendations, order placement, tracking and fulfilment. An entrepreneur at heart and a technology buff in her career, Susmitha has learnt the most intensive lessons by observing ‘Business and Customer’ interactions. During the pandemic, she witnessed a huge gap in the market for organized and interactive interfaces for fashion design, fashion styling, online personalized orders and fulfillment. Thus, Cloudtailor was born, a first of its kind initiative, that not only elevates the overall purchasing experience but redefines personalisation through innovation, convenience and technology. An Alumni of Birla Institute of Technology and Science - Pilani& IIM Kolkata, Sushmita comes with an industry experience of over 19 years having worked with companies such as Wipro Technologies, Quantum and Dell. She also learned the intricacies of intensive software management, testing and has played a pivotal role as a founding member in her earlier startups in product marketing and content production studio. Susmitha’s plans for the company are set at taking the brand to newer heights. The brand aims to be the ‘One Stop Shop’ for all personalized fashion choices among women globally through simplifying and enhancing the overall purchase experience in the women's wear segment. The brand also plans to be ‘World’s Local Boutique’ by expanding in 7 cities and 7 centres in the upcoming months.
