Mr. Vivek Gupta is an industrialist, and entrepreneur presently the CEO of GKB Optic Technologies Pvt. Ltd. (a JV between Essilor International and his family), engaged in the manufacturing of high-end, corrective, and fashion lenses in India. He is also on the board of directors of GKB Opticals Ltd, India. He is also the founder of www.YourSpex.com by GKB eyecare Pvt. Ltd, his latest venture. He is an alumnus of the prestigious Harvard Business School, MA (SELP 2017) before which he completed his MBA from SP Jain, Mumbai (Entrepreneurship, Marketing and Finance) in 2005 and BE (Mechanical) from RVCE Bangalore, in 2003. He was selected in the top 40 under 40 business leaders in India for Business World magazine 2020.

After returning from his executive MBA at Harvard in 2018, he has strategized the JV’s business to perform at over 200% growth in profit (2019) in just one year. He joined his family enterprise in 2005 and they have since manufactured and sold millions of lenses and forged strong partnerships all over the world. After creating tremendous shareholder value, and a sustainable growth engine for the group, he has now his eyes set on the emerging segment of Online/Internet eyewear sales in India.

Keeping his mantra of “Responsible business with a social impact” he is also passionate about providing affordable eyewear to the large masses in India who have little or no access to eye-care facilities through his new venture GKB Eyecare Pvt. Ltd.
