Anaida Parvaneh, Chef and Partner, SodaBottleOpenerwala at Powai, Mumbai
It's Sashimi for Anaida Parvaneh, Chef and Partner, SodaBottleOpenerwala at Powai, Mumbai. "I like proper Sashimi, the authentic Japanese cuisine. Before having it, I would have never ever imagined that I would eat a raw fish," she says.
"Earlier, if somebody told me to eat Sushi and Sashimi, I would tell them, "yeah, in Iran we call them bait."
"But my all-time favourite is Iranian dish called Fasenjan - it's a stew of pomegranate and walnut, with chicken or duck in it. I have made it in many pop-ups. I have created a vegetarian version of Fasenjan. It is a mix of khatta-meetha taste. I also love Goan Prawn Curry Rice," Chef Anaida adds.
