Talli Turmeric
Idlis are not just tasty but also a wholesome breakfast that keeps your tummy full.
"One of the best-known examples of South Indian cuisine, the idli has travelled far and wide gaining renown equally for its health benefits. At Talli Turmeric we were certain that it be included in our menu which is a great representation of dishes across India. Make sure to try our Urugai idli! The spicy overtones of the gunpowder work with the simple flavours of idlis to make an outstanding dish - healthy, wholesome and delicious," says Chef Arasakumar, Talli Turmeric.
On the occasion of World Idli Day, on March 30, Talli Turmeric is offering a special idli menu:
Urugai Idli Vathkkal (served at Talli Turmeric on all days)
All the way from Kanchipuram in Tamil Nadu, these mini idlis are tossed in tangy spices and gunpowder and served with delicious coconut chutney.
Kanchipuram Idli (being served only on the World Idli Day)
Spiced up with a tempering of ginger, green chilli, and curry leaves. This is an interesting variation to the original idli.
Masala Idli (being served only on World Idli Day)
With a delicious mix of spices mixed in the idli batter before steaming to give it an extra tang, this makes for a quick, easy and spicy snack.
