- ?Simba Toys set for 30-40 stores by 2016
Simba India a subsidiary of Simba Dickie Group, a German- based toy manufacturer plans to expand to 30-40 stores in India by 2016. With eleven stores in India at present, the toy retail chain is also targeting tier- II & III cities to showcase their range of safe and qualitative products for kids.
The brand is soon launching its new store in Khar, Mumbai. Boasting to be one of the Global leaders in toy manufacturing, Simba India is targeting to open 20-25 stores every year and to become the largest toy retail chain in India in the next couple of years.Simba India has now become the Master Franchisor and is taking care of the franchise business internally.
Having presence in over 25 countries, Simba Toys brings together a whole host of brands and thus covers a broad spectrum of playing fields including 6500+ SKU’s. Simba also holds licenses for some of the leading entertainment properties including Cars2, Steffi Love and Squap in addition to being a regional leader in back to school products like Dora (Nickelodeon), The Amazing Spider-Man and Avengers, the upcoming Marvel movies, Mr. Men & Little Miss and Steffi Love. All these products are designed and produced by Simba Toys.
