Switch Mobility, an electric vehicle manufacturing company has provided two double-decker electric buses to Kerala State Road Transport Corporation for plying it between the tourist spots to make the ride smooth, exciting, and green for the people coming across the world to witness the beauty of the state.
This Open-roof Switch EiV 22 buses are designed, developed, and manufactured have been procured by KSRTC and will be operated by KSRTC SWIFT – an arm of KSRTC formed for operating long-distance buses. Painted in distinctive shades of blue and brown, these buses will be a prominent tourist attraction on their own in Thiruvananthapuram.

The buses were inducted by Transport Minister KB Ganesh Kumar, who also drove the open-roof Switch EiV 22 double-decker e-bus.
At present, Switch Mobility’s fleet in India comprises nearly 600 e-buses, operating across major cities, including Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, and Ahmedabad. Cumulative they have covered more than 50 million eco-friendly kilometres since 2018 in India.
