Zomato is looking to provide an end-to-end solution to the restaurants for overcoming the operational complexities.

In a recent development, food-tech giant Zomato has come up with a one-stop solution for its restaurant partners, to scale up the business. As per a PTI report, the online food ordering and delivery platform launched a 'restaurant services hub' on Thursday, across the country. This new feature, accessible through Zomato's restaurant partner app or dining app, offers services related to licensing, taxation, trademarking, restaurant registration, Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) registration and more. Alongside this, the company is also offering hiring solutions, with an option to outsource the entire process for a seamless restaurant operation. Zomato, reportedly, is also offering a guarantee period for new employees.

According to the PTI report, Zomato has released a statement mentioning that in the past six months, the 'Restaurant Services Hub' feature has catered to over 3,200 restaurants. The company currently plans to extend the service to restaurants pan India, "irrespective of their arrangement with Zomato".

Further explaining this pan-India service for restaurants, Rakesh Ranjan Zomato CEO of food delivery, states that the company is looking to provide an end-to-end solution to the restaurants for overcoming the operational complexities, including choosing the right location and finding ideal suppliers. "The restaurant services hub platform is only a step towards our vision of creating a full-stack solution for any restaurant owner looking to set up shop or scale their existing business. By strengthening partnerships and facilitating collaboration within the industry, we are focused on building a more resilient and inclusive ecosystem in the country," Rakesh Ranjan mentions.

Talking about their upcoming plans, Zomato said that the company intends to launch different other services such as POS (point of sale), device integrations, and hygiene audits, for their restaurant partners.

For the uninitiated Swiggy recently launched a new feature on its partner app to connect restaurants with staffing experts to help in hiring qualified candidates across various roles.
