Xotik Frujus Pvt. Ltd. was established in the year 2007 to produce fruit based non-alcoholic beverages. Elaborating about how innovations have helped his business stay ahead of the curve, Mr. Rajeev Sehgal (Chairman) says, “Jeeru, our flagship product, with the added goodness of apple, is our frontrunner in terms of innovation. Jeera Masala as a beverage was always considered a low-quality, low-MRP product in an unorganized market. We changed that equation.”
The fruit-based juice market is one of the fastest-growing categories in the beverage segment, growing at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 25-30% in the past decade. With a CAGR of 55%, Xotik is considering expansion in terms of production as well as distribution. Sehgal elaborates, “We are appointing exclusive distribution franchises (EDFs) and are looking for exclusive contract packers (ECPs) for production and plan on getting on board 10-12 ECPs and more than 250 EDFs in the next five years.
