Sid Shah is Founder of The Wild East Group, a firm which exclusively builds new business opportunities for a portfolio of leading celebrity, sports, and corporate brands in India. His clients include Hrithik Roshan, Yash Raj Films, Kolkata Knight Riders, HP, Dr. Seuss, and a variety of other brands.
Sid is recognized as a ‘thought leader’ within the marketing function, and has been a recurring featured speaker at business schools across the world and has taught sessions on branding and selling. He has 8+ years of global consulting experience with Fortune 100 clients across the high tech, consumer goods, hospitality, and manufacturing sectors and he has lived abroad in Italy, India, Japan, Germany, and Thailand.
Sid sits on the Board of Directors at Project Ahimsa (www.projectahimsa.org), a global effort to empower youth through music. Prior to that, he was the Chairman of the 2005 Riordan Fellowship in Los Angeles, and was on the Board of Directors of Habitat for Humanity. Sid is part owner of a new concept bar in Santa Monica called The Yard (www.theyardsm.com). He is a frequent contributor to Brandchannel, Retailer Magazine, and Total Licensing, and speaks regularly at Harvard, Wharton, Kellogg, LBS, and UCLA.
