In his 18 yrs career in hotel developments with Crowe Horwath International, Whitbread International and Radisson Hotel Group, Davashish has worked on a range of stra- tegic consulting, development planning and strategic growth assignments instrumental in notable hospitality develop- ments in the country. Currently, as the Head of Development, he is responsible for Radisson Hotel Group’s growth in South Asia. In his 8-year stint with the Radis- son Hotel Group (RHG), he has contributed more than 90 new hotels to the company- which is the second largest international hotel chain of India with 195 ho- tels in operations and pipeline. In 2024, under his leadership, RHG has signed more than 3,000 rooms which is RHG’s highest growth in a year in the last 26 years. Davashish believes that the ability to make decisions, fo- cus on larger good with a macro point of view and the ability to say “no” when needed, form the key traits of a good leader. According to him, automation of processes is key for scaling up the organization while transpar- ency in communication helps in creating a healthy environment for efficiency in systems. For Davashish, happy employees in a strong culture become responsi- ble employees, who are focused on common organisation goals. His definition of success is mental peace and therefore, it has to be recalibrated each day. A staunch believer of transpar- ency in workplace, Davashish’s business strategy includes com- petitive growth with supportive backend systems.
