Ranjit joined Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf on March 15th, 2022, based in New Delhi, India. In this role he is responsible for will be responsible for shaping our India Subcontinent growth and commercial strategy, driving development, setting up a national marketing capability, driving operations excellence as well as acquiring and supporting our franchisees in India. Ranjit is known to be independent in putting forth ideas and act with a sense of urgency. He brings a multi-industry experience with leadership experience on both Franchisee & Franchisor sides of the business. His last assignment was as the Country Director – South Asia for Subway where he was responsible for driving the business unit P&L and led to concluded a project to sign Subway’s largest global Master Franchise. Ranjit has worked with Lavazza, Vodafone, Carzonrent and Pizza Hut; therefore, brings retail development experience from multiple industries. Ranjit is a Commerce & Computer Science graduate who has a studied Coffee Cultivation & Roasting. Ranjit is a frequent traveler who immerse himself in folk culture & food of places they travel to.
