Joel Silverstein is the President and CEO of East West Hospitality Group. The firm is focused on three main client bases - private equity, international restaurant chains, and global franchisors, with key expertise in due diligence for M&A and value creation lever improvements for existing portfolio companies. The company has a large international restaurant chain client base from the USA, UK, Europe and Asia Pacific. In 2011, the company added a division devoted to franchise development and is currently working with many leading franchisors in Korea, Japan, Europe and the USA to expand their footprint beyond their home markets.

He has also served as a Divisional Vice President at Pizza Hut, and a Vice President and Director at Kentucky Fried Chicken, Japan.

Joel has extensive experience in the Asia Pacific region as well as the Russian Federation and East Africa. He has worked with private equity funds as well as industry players in all key markets and has been a part of many of the largest M&A deals in the restaurant sector in these regions over the past 10 years.
