After graduating in computer science from Ferguson College, Pune, he completed his MBA and PhD in Human Resources from Symbiosis International University and gained a master's degree in Personnel Management from the Symbiosis Institute of Business Management.

Through MultiFit, Samir wishes to change the perception that machines were not necessary to achieve the required results and reintroduce exercising as was practiced by our ancestors. He is an advocate of functional training, which focuses on fitness that improves one's performance at everyday activities.

Samir has been associated with several corporate entities in varying capacities. He set up the resourcing centre for Standard Chartered Bank and served as Asst. VP, Bank of America, heading staffing for the country and DGM, ICICI One Source, heading recruitment for the Philippines and 6 cities in India. He was conferred with the ‘Innovative HR Professional of the Year’ award at the Deccan Herald Avenues Awards for HR excellence.

Samir is also the co-founder and director of Orange Ivy Play Schools and a certified Graphologist from the Institute of Graphology, Pune.
