IIHT spreads its wings across the globe

Indian Institute of Hardware Technology Ltd (IIHT), an IT education, training and consulting organisation is planning to expand in Eastern Europe and Middle East. It also has plans to add more centers in India by the end of this fiscal year.

As told to Ramanjit Kaur of FIHL, “The company has plans to take their present count of 250 centers in India to 350 by the end of this year. And globally, we are planning to cover the entire Africa, Asia Pacific, parts of Europe and Middle East,” said Murali Mohan, Vice President, Global Learning Solutions, IIHT.

Presently, the company supports over 350 franchisees globally. It also has a presence in around 250 locations in India alone. It provides support to its franchisees through established SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and handholding. IIHT is known not just for its IT training courses and internationally recognised certifications but also for its Infrastructure Management Services (IMS) training and consulting that has been started recently.

The company started in 1992 and now has a presence across 20 countries across the globe. IIHT is a preferred partner of Microsoft, Cisco, HP, Symantec, Oracle, Red Hat, Sun Microsystems, Net Apps and CompTIA in India. It also serves as a knowledge partner to many universities and colleges around the world. The company has collaborated with Sikkim Manipal University to offer degrees in its IMS courses.

Of the 300 centres operated by IIHT in India, 180 centres are fully-owned while the rest are franchised. About 20 new centres are proposed to be added in India by the end of March this year.
