- Jumboking celebrates a decade of success
Jumboking, a fast food retail chain, completed 10 years of existence on August 23. Completing a decade, the brand now plans to expand in mega-cities in India before venturing into Europe and USA. Jumboking has captured the imagination of the youth and now serves city’s favourite food vada pav with music playing in an air conditioned environment.
On the occasion Dheeraj Gupta, MD Jumboking Foods Private Ltd said, "Brands have to become more inspirational with time; they have to move forward with the exposure levels of their customers. We feel that now the time is right and the market is ready to accept that vada pav can be sold from an AC store. Now, a decade of innovation later, Jumboking, Mumbai’s very own snack on the move has gone a step ahead in giving the youth a cool environment."
The brand operates as a fast food retail chain on franchise basis nationally. The franchising program includes appointing development agents across the country. The development agents in Bangaluru and Aurangabad are already expanding the brands footprint.
The franchise fees and cost of interiors for an air conditioned Jumboking store will be approximately Rs 15 lakh. Area required for the franchise is 300 sq. ft with minimum frontage of 15 ft.
