Florist Chain, Ferns N Petals (FNP) has accomplished a network of 185 outlets pan India. The brand was started as a single outlet in 1994. In a span of 20 years, it has achieved sky-scrapping heights in the floral industry capitalising on the principles of customer delight, innovative approach and constant R&D.
In the last quarter, FNP had opened 14 more outlets and has taken its flowery offerings to 74 cities across India. Anil Sharma, VP, Retail and franchise, FNP says: “This has been possible through the robust expansion plan that we have been following all these years. We are coming up with new outlets in towns like Rourkela, Bhagalpur, Bathinda, Tinda, Gorakhpur, Noida and Greater Noida in August 2014.”
FNP boasts of being the world’s largest chain of floral boutiques. The brand claims to sell a bouquet every 5 seconds and add new outlet every week. Out of 185 outlets, 40 per cent are being managed by women entrepreneurs. The brand has its presence at every 200 km in India. FNP has 1172 skilled artists throughout its retail network that covers 54000 sq. ft of retail space pan India.
Sharma further adds: “As a team, we believe in constant innovation, recently FNP introduced a new vertical-Wedding Design Hub (WDH). Wedding Design Hub gives support for wedding related structures, setups and décor pieces. It is not just a retail store for wedding designs products; it also provides renowned designer support. The in-house team designs the majority of wedding accessories that we sell includes carvings, crystal strings, tassels and lamps. Unique carvings and unmatched colour combinations of products have carved a niche in the industry. Exuding a scintillating appeal, the range includes artificial flowers, naturals, vases, cages, candelabras, chandeliers and much more.”
