India's one of the largest private retail brands of craft based products – Fabindia, opened its 192nd outlet in India and its third outlet in Bhubaneswar. Located in the Janpath Area, Ashok Nagar and spread over 1,650 sq. ft. approx., the new outlet offers an exclusive collection of garments for men and women, home linen, giftware, lighting, hand-crafted jewellery, personal care and organic foods.
Hon’ble Minister of Tourism and Culture, Government of Odisha Shri Ashok Chandra Panda inaugurated the new store in the presence of Bhubaneswar-Madhya MLA Bijay Mohanty, Mayor Anant Naryan Jena. Among others Fabindia All India Head, Franchise Business N Venkatraman, Market Region Head (East) Sujata Absar and Panda Travel Mart Director Shiba Prasad Panda were present on the occasion of new store launching.
With 191 stores across 76 cities in India and eight international stores, Fabindia Overseas Private Limited is offering a platform for a wide range of products produced by artisans living largely in rural areas. The endeavour is to blend indigenous craft techniques with contemporary designs in order to present aesthetic and affordable hand crafted products to today’s consumers using natural materials and fibres.
Fabindia also provides online B2C shopping facilities to support customers across 33 countries, including India.
