- Age-old ayurvedic treatments blended with modern techniques to pamper and revitalise- Aheli Spa
Every human being wants to be pampered after a hectic week of work and tension. Mixing new ways with age-old therapies is becoming a huge thing among the spa brands in the market, fighting it out to build a loyal customer base and yield good revenue. Most of the spas support indoor practices and services and outdoor treatment option is something that is found only in some brands. In a conversation with Aheli Spa, The Roseate House (New Delhi), the brand tells us the areas they focus on in order to provide relaxation to their customers, introducing outdoor treatment services and many more.
About the Brand
Aheli spa, present at The Roseate House (New Delhi), hotels in the UK and to be set up at the upcoming hotel The Roseate Ganges (Rishikesh), drew inspiration from the best health and beauty practices sourced from age-old ayurvedic treatments blended with modern techniques to pamper and revitalise guests. Aheli’s aim is not only to relax and rejuvenate mind and body but heal one’s senses through trained experts keeping in mind that each individual has a different requirement.
Journey
In this era, it is all about the experience that a hotel creates for its guests to take home memories leaving an impact and recall value. Each Aheli spa is a chef-d'oeuvre in itself making each facility stand out. At the Roseate, the architect drew inspiration from the ‘five elements’ in Hindu philosophy – air, water, fire, earth and the sky hence, the Aheli Spa there is nestled amongst the quietude of water bodies, with extensive outdoor treatment areas including the Yoga pavilion, a glass house fitness centre, a Thai pavilion and sand beds. Four indoor treatment suites with private verandahs house the signature therapies. While the spa at Roseate House lies on the topmost floor with chic bamboo wall designs, earthy tone interiors, a pebbled water body and an open sky ushering ample light and has four treatment rooms including a couple room with a Jacuzzi to ease muscle tension. Another intriguing feature is the spa’s sauna that has a gorgeous city view.
Challenges While Expansion
Being a newly born hotel chain, spreading the word was imperative to bring in guests. Once it started various marketing campaigns to promote the spa and salon focusing on the unique elements and services. It overcame it in no time. Also, the reputation of award-winning Aheli spa at their flagship hotel The Roseate helped garner enough attention and curiosity amongst guests to try the nouveau Aheli spa at Roseate House in Aerocity.
USP
At Aheli, the brand’s forte lies in using natural ingredients in its products which are easily available from the surrounding – the water bodies, private open verandas, out-door therapy area. The rooftop pool at Roseate House is country’s longest spreading around 102 metres.
