Agrimart seeks expansion in Tamil Nadu

Agrimart, a farm and garden care equipment maker is looking for rapid expansion in Tamil Nadu via franchise route. The company is searching for partners/investors at the District or Taluk level in the state to expand its presence. 

The company currently operates a network of 400 dealers and 100 Agrimart stores across the country. It plans to add 250 to 300 Agrimart stores in the next two-three years. In Tamil Nadu, the company plans to roll out 45 Agrimart outlets in the first phase starting from Salem, Tiruchi and Madurai districts. The franchisee would require a carpet area of 1,000-1,200 sq. ft along with the total investment of Rs25 lakh.

Agrimart is a diversified retail, trading, plantation, real estate, and energy associates of Ratnagiri Impex Pvt. Ltd (RIPL) that manufactures multi-purpose machines used in farms and other garden accessories such as power weeder, power tiller, pole pruner, harvester, land mower and others. It operates in more than 60 cities, 140 districts, 1,200 towns, 1,50,000 villages and employs about 450 people directly across India.
