To bring healthcare of international standards within the reach of every individual, Apollo Health and Lifestyle Limited (AHLL), will be opening over 100 franchise Apollo Clinics in the next three years in India. Currently, Apollo Clinic is operating a mix of company-owned (63) and franchise (32) clinics.
Going further, it plans to open clinics in different locations like Maharashtra, West Bengal, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Bihar, Jharkhand, Orissa, Madhya Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Mizoram and Sikkim.
Since, the brand is expanding via franchise route, it believes in providing detailed training to its franchisees and covering all aspects of the business. Neeraj Garg, Chief Executive Officer, Apollo Health and Lifestyle Limited, said: “Apollo has developed detailed manuals outlining each and every aspect of the operations of the clinics. Apollo provides rigorous support during operations, including service quality reviews, clinic operations audit, and continuous training programs. Additionally, Apollo will train the franchisee's sales personnel in sales and promotion of the clinics.They are actively involved in developing product and pricing strategy and also the pre-launch activities.”
Other than India, Apollo is also bullish about its expansion internationally. “There are Apollo Clinics in Kuwait and Qatar currently and we are exploring new opportunities in the Gulf and Africa regions. We are going to be opening our own Apollo Medical Centre in Dar es Salaam in partnership with the National Social Security Fund of Tanzania,” shared Neeraj Garg.
