Airbnb India, an arm of the San Francisco-based online travel aggregator Airbnb, has posted a revenue of about Rs 35 crore for the financial year that ended in March 2018. In the previous fiscal, the company reported a revenue of Rs 31.4 crore.
Airbnb is one of the world's most valuable startups. It is reportedly valued at over $38 billion.
Amanpreet Bajaj, Airbnb India’s Country Manager, said, "Homestay listings on Airbnb site in India have grown 100 percent annually in the last two years. At present, around 40,000 homes are listed on the platform across more than 100 cities in India. Goa, with around 6,200 listings, is the biggest market in the country."
