Altigreen’s neEV Tez powered by exponent’s 15-minute rapid charging technology is now with 3-in-one Charging that lets the user choose between normal, fast and 0-100 per cent in 15-minute rapid charging options.

Commercial electric vehicle manufacturer Altigreen on Thursday launched its all-new ultra-fast charging L5 electric three-wheeler, neEV Tez which can be charged from 0 to 100 per cent in just 15 minutes.

neEV Tez features 3-in-one charging that lets the user choose between normal, fast and rapid charging options. The vehicle can be charged in 15 minutes at Exponent’s e^pump rapid charging network. In normal and fast charging modes, it will take 3.5 hours 16 A AC Socket and one hour through when plugged in Bharat DCOO1 charging station. The vehicle comes with a five year standard warranty.

Speaking at the occasion, Debashis Mitra said, “We are thrilled to unveil neEV Tez – a ground breaking addition to Altigreen’s electric vehicle line-up. neEV Tez, features the world’s best rapid charging capabilities powered by Exponent Energy, and represents our unwavering commitment to serve customers’ needs pushing the boundaries of innovative technology in electric mobility.”

neEV Tez is a game-changer, designed to meet the growing demands of last mile delivery and offer convenience to vehicle owners with flexible charging options. Current offerings in the market are primarily with slow 4-6 hr charging and some with faster charging. However, we are the only OEM in industry to offer 3-inone charging options. This will help our customers with better utilisation of vehicles and maximising their earnings, he added.

On the day of launch, Altigreen also delivered 200 neEV Tez vehicles to Magenta Mobility which is a part of 1,000 vehicle MOU deal. It will further catalyse the shift towards electric mobility.

Maxson Lewis, Founder & Managing Director, Magenta Mobility said, “We are proud to be at the forefront of India's electric mobility revolution, and today's delivery of 200 neEV Tez vehicles from Altigreen represents a significant step in our journey. We have a vision for a cleaner, more sustainable India, and we will continue efforts towards making transportation and delivery needs clean and efficient using smart electric vehicles.”

Altigreen’s neEV Tez comes with a standard five-year warranty, the battery supports a 3000-cycle life warranty with 100 per cent rapid charging. This is an industry first where the average stands at 1,000 cycle life. With neEV Tez, users will be able to use the same vehicle to complete two shifts, thereby increasing productivity and earnings

Sharing thoughts, Arun Vinayak said, “After successfully launching our solution in Bengaluru, we’re excited to formally enter Delhi-NCR in partnership with Altigreen & Magenta. Today, commercial EVs have limited productivity; cargo business owners experience charging anxiety due to long charging time, poor network reliability, availability and long queues. These forces logistics operators to set up their own hubs to solve both charging and parking. In addition, customers wanting to run two shifts are forced to deploy 2 EVs since the vehicles take too long to charge, thereby increasing the cost of operations.

Rajiv Kumar, GM SIDBI who was also present at the occasion said that SIDBI is committed towards the electrification and mission is to ensure easy finance options are available to make this electrification mission possible. “It’s heartening to partner with Magenta and technology leader Altigreen’ to ensure to fulfil common objective of electrification,” he added.
