Amway India has forayed into the rapidly growing herbals skincare market, its first such brand in the category. Amway India is India arm of the $8.6 billion direct selling company Amway Corp, selling a range of personal care and household products.
Anshu Budhraja, CEO of Amway India, said, "We are watching this space very closely and could extend other brands to the herbals space. Indian consumers are increasingly orienting themselves to herbal products and the new range will be among our growth engines in the coming year."
Amway India has extended its home-grown Attitude brand to the herbals beauty-care space.
"The Attitude brand could be moved to the herbals range entirely over the long term. The company would also explore taking the herbals range to its global markets after drawing learnings from India," Budhraja added.
Earlier this year, the company had extended its Nutrilite brand to a traditional herbs range.
