Recently, a MoU is signed between the Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation and Amazon Internet Services that would concentrate on building cloud skills and literacy for more than 30,000 students across several universities in the state.

Vincent Kuah, Regional Head-APJ, Amazon Web Services says “There has been a significant rise in cloud adoption among the various state governments in India. Also, this cloud-based technology is also getting familiar in education and wellness sectors as well.”

“India is currently having big universities like Manipal Global that are running a lot of their back-end systems through AWS,” adds Kuah.
