Anytime Fitness signs new India partner

Anytime Fitness, a co-ed chain of health clubs from the US has entered into a new master franchise agreement in India. It has now signed New Delhi based House of Fitness Pvt. Ltd as its master franchisee for the country. Under the terms of the agreement, House of Fitness (HOF) will develop own Anytime Fitness gyms and it will also sub-franchise. This is the second foray into the Indian market for the brand.

Earlier the company had opened four clubs under a prior master franchise agreement with a different company. However, the brand terminated that master franchise relationship on account of that master franchisee's failure to comply with the terms of its master franchise agreement. HOF is already an experienced player in fitness industry. The management of HoF has been involved in setting up several gym facilities in India and has provided state-of the art fitness equipment to various gyms in the country. Founded in 2002 Anytime Fitness currently has nearly 2,000 clubs across the globe.
