- Aparna Enterprises plans Rs 200-cr investment to fuel expansion
Aparna Enterprises Limited, part of city-based diversified Aparna Group, on Wednesday announced plans to invest Rs 200 crore on expansion over next three years.
As part of this expansion which is expected to help it double its turnover from current Rs 800 crore, the company will expand tiles manufacturing unit near Kakinada in Andhra Pradesh by adding two more assembly lines.
Currently in RMC (ready-mix concrete), tiles and uPVC windows segments, the company has diversified into aluminium windows and doors. It established a plant for aluminium doors and windows with an investment of Rs 10 crore, on the Hyderabad outskirts.
“Aluminium windows and doors segment is a Rs 2,000-3,000 crore market in south India. We are looking at a business of Rs 150 crore from this segment in the first year,” P Ashwin Reddy, Managing Director, Aparna Enterprises, told the media here.
The company sells windows and doors under Venster brand which is celebrating its 10th year now. Aluminium business will also come under it. “We have been providing premium quality uPVC doors and windows for over a decade now and installed over 1.2 million uPVC windows across the country. This success is a testament to our superior brand quality,” said Aparna Reddy, the company’s Director.
