Aptech Ltd, an IT training and learning solutions provider, has announced plans to expand in emerging markets like Russia, Vietnam and in the Middle East and Africa via franchising. Ninad Karpe, CEO and MD, Aptech Ltd, confirmed the development.
The company is looking at adding 150 franchised centres in India and abroad in the next one year. Of these, around 60 centres will be launched in Russia alone. Commenting on expansion plans, Karpe says, “We are focusing on becoming a global career education company. We are following a multi-product and multi-geography strategy. These emerging markets are interesting. They are not very easy to enter but provide fairly long term prospects.”
Aptech is operating through its well-known brands such as Aptech computer education and Arena, English Express and Avalon. The company is targetting bigger cities for its new brands, English Express and Avalon, while for other two brands, it is all set to expand in tier III and IV cities.
