Arvind Internet Ltd (AIL), a start-up by the Arvind group, is planning to launch its online custom clothing brand - Creyate this year. Creyate has plans of opening stores in 15 cities within the next year.
Presently, it has stores in Bengaluru, Ahmedabad and Delhi. It also offers home visits in some major cities. Considering e-commerce as a key growth driver, the group aims to take its business to Rs. 1000 crore plus in three years. AIL is planning to take Creyate to global consumers next year starting with the US market, where online custom clothing is a booming market.
Creyate Stores are synonymous to a design studio with iMac installed in the centre for designing garments. The swatch books are also made available. One can select a garment, scan the QR code and the same garment will appear on screen all ready to be worked upon as per the individual choice. Apart from the range of fabrics offered by Arvind, an assortment of fabrics from the choicest of Italian mills is offered by Creyate. Arvind has invested in an automated manufacturing setup for this business to make customised garments suiting the need, choice and size of the customers.
