Ashok Leyland has showcased seven products which include Battery Electric Vehicle, Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle, Hydrogen Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) Vehicle, Liquefied Natural Gas Vehicle, Intercity CNG Bus and A Mini Passenger Bus.

Hinduja Group’s Auto making subsidiary, Ashok Leyland, has launched seven auto vehicles in the Auto Expo 2023. The company is known as a prominent name in auto manufacturers of the country.

Auto Expo 2023 is a six day show of India’s Auto Industry that is organised once in a two years. Most recent edition of the show, Auto Expo, was held in February 2020, just before the COVID-19 pandemic started. This 2023 edition is scheduled to commence on 11th January 2023 and will end on 18th January 2023. First two days of the event are exclusive to Media while rest six days will witness the participation from general public too.

Ashok Leyland has showcased seven products in the Auto Expo which are –

Executive Chairman of Ashok Leyland, Dheeraj Hinduja, launched these products. He proclaimed that Ashok Leyland was always a pioneer in introducing state-of-the-art technologies in the commercial vehicle space. “The range of our new clean-energy products, covering both the truck and bus segments, underscores our capability and readiness to lead the transformation in the road transportation sector. We will remain deeply invested in the cause of sustainability, aspiring to lead the market with our new-generation commercial vehicles,” He added further.

Hinduja also said that Ashok Leyland—with the help of its futuristic and innovative product portfolio—has once again demonstrated technological leadership, and more importantly a commitment to the Clean Mobility Mission.

The automotive sector has seen a wave of technological upgrade in the last two years with green fuel being the future of the industry. He added that Ashok Leyland has one of the best R&D teams in the country and the company wants to continue path innovation. “Our aim is to make India's alternate fuel segment self-reliant and be one of the flag bearers of the ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ campaign,” added Aggarwal.
