Austrian domestic appliance Brand Vitek enters India, seeking dealers

The firm has launched over fourty products in categories like kitchen appliances, garment steamer, tower fans, room heaters, room coolers, vacuum cleaners, beauty and grooming products.

Other than e-commerce sales, it will sell through 1,000 dealers within the next six months positioning itself as a premium brand. The company has tied up with Mumbai-based SPG India Pvt Ltd which will own and market the Vitek brand in India. SPG India will be spending around $10-million over the next three years in strengthening its marketing and distribution channels. Under the Vitek brand, the firm also plans to sell air purifier, air conditioner, microwave oven among other products.

Vitek is a leading international brand in home appliances in Eastern Europe, Russia and CIS countries. This young brand has completed 15 years and now it is expanding its base by entering into the Indian market to bring this qualitative advantage to the Indian consumers.
