Bangs India, a chain of fried chicken restaurants and kiosks, established in 2008 has announced plans to open 50 franchises in South India within 2010. As told to Ramanjit Kaur of FIHL, “We have plans to add 50 franchised and 30 company-owned outlets in South India. We are focussing on cities like Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Thiruvananthapuram, Coimbatore and Pondicherry,” says Asvin Vijay, CEO, Bangs India.
The company is in the process of identifying qualified franchisees in major cities. The company seeks prospective franchisees with financial and managerial resources to effectively establish multiple units of Bangs Fried Chicken kiosks/ restaurants. As per Vijay, “The food and beverage business is the fastest growing business in India and if you invest as a franchisee, you can get returns within six to eight months.”
