After establishing itself in almost all tier II and III cities, Bangs, an Indian fried-chicken brand, now has plans to expand by opening 500 outlets across the county.

Asvin Simon, MD, Bangs India, said: “Bangs has plans to open 500 outlets across the country in the next five years.  As many as 100 outlets will be company-owned while the rest 400 will be franchise outlets.  Currently, Bangs has 40 + outlets but it is aiming to open 50 more franchise outlets by December 2013. Besides the upcoming location in Qatar, Bangs plans to open more outlets internationally, targeting the Middle East. Foreign expansions will be through joint ventures and franchisees.”

A franchisee needs to invest Rs13-40 lakh and must have an area of 400 -2000 sq ft to open a Bangs outlet.
