Spencer’s Retail Limited, a subsidiary of RPG Enterprises has plans to open 70 stores of Beverly Hills Polo Club throughout India by 2010-2011. In August this year, the company introduced this brand in India.
Presently, the company owns four company owned outlets in Delhi. And now they are planning to expand their network in around 40 cities of India by 2011. The outlets will be a mix of both franchised and company owned stores. The average size of the store will be 1,200- 1,500 sq. ft.
As per the official, Spencer’s Retail Limited has earmarked Rs 20 crore for the expansion plans. The company is accordingly negotiating with the various mall developers to get the best rental scheme.
