Biba, an ethnic wear brand opened its 150th store in Bengaluru. The store covers an area of 2200 sq ft. Currently, Biba products are available through 150 exclusive outlets across 60 cities. The brand has presence in retail chains of the country like Shopper’s Stop, Lifestyle, Pantaloons and Central.
“The launch of our milestone 150th store pan India in Bengaluru has strengthened our approach towards the Southern region. Biba wishes to offer the best to its customer in ethnic wear category, owing to its rich design and style. With this launch, we hope to enhance the shopping experience of our customers and showcase all our product categories to the fullest,” says Siddhartha Bindra, Managing Director, Biba.
The newly opened store features an assorted mix of ethnic wear and the complete range of Biba’s collection namely, Salwar Kameez Dupatta (SKD), Mix and Match Kurtas which feature exotic and bright patterns, Loungers which is a new category in bottom wear, Biba Girls which caters to the needs of girls between 2 to 12 years and the complete range of Biba by Rohit Bal. Apart from this, the store is stocked with ready to stitch fabrics and leggings as well.
Biba is a home grown brand that was started by Meena Bindra in 1988 from her house in Bombay with meager sum of Rs 8000. Retail revolution boosted the brand recognition and growth.
