- Bloom Juices set up its first flagship store: franchising an option for its expansion
Bloom Juices launched their first fresh fruit drinks outlet ‘Bloom’ in Mohali. This is first of its kind health drinks bar in India. The outlet will offer an array of fruit juices, smoothies and health-based food. For the first time in India a juice outlet will also offer 100 per cent organic and Ayurveda -based health boosters. These unique products are formulated by a group of highly experienced Ayurvedic doctors. The USP of Bloom is that it serves nutritious fresh juices with ayurvedic boosters. These boosters, known as Bloom Boosters, will be retailed at the outlets. The company claims that Bloom boosters are a rich source of alkaloids, glycosides, anti- oxidants, vitamins and other essential nutrients and make an ideal substitute for the missing nutrients in our body. They concentrate mainly on six areas of health; anti aging, anti stress, immunity modulation, brain, total health and vigour and vitality. Talking about the growth opportunities for the brand, Amit Roy Sharma, CEO & President, Bloom Juices Pvt. Ltd, said, “Bloom has huge market potential and we believe that the Indian market is ready for such health drinks as we offer”. He also informed that the demand for shelf-stable juices in India is Rs.7,000 crores per annum. The fruit juices of Bloom are made of fresh fruits only. The company is strictly against the use of any artificial ingredients for adding flavors or colors. All its product offerings are absolutely nature based. These fruit drinks at the outlet will be available in all flavors round the year, independent of the seasonal changes. To complement the drinks, snacks will be served of vegetarian recipe. Bloom’s high-end juicers, chillers, blenders and other equipments have been imported from France, Malaysia and the USA. The company has plans for a nationwide expansion with an emphasis on metros and tier I cities. “The company plans to open four new outlets over the 12 months and is already in the process of handing out franchisees”, revealed Sharma. The franchisee will have to provide the space and investment for the store and the operation of the store will be managed by the company itself. The required carpet area for the Bloom store is 1200 sq ft. The franchisee will get a 20-39% of the revenue share. The company will also have 10-15 company-owned outlets.
