Blueair to double its dealer network

Sweden-based air purifier firm Blueair is eying at doubling its dealer network by March 2016 in India. The company which is targeting the upper middle class and the expats in India, is also aiming to double its sales every year.

"We would double our dealer's network in the next quarter. We are aiming to double our market size every year. Presently our 80 per cent sales come from retail and rest from institutional clients as embassies and corporate offices," said Blueair Business Head in India Vijay Kannan  to PTI.

Blueair has launched Pro XL, its most powerful mobile indoor air purifier. Presently, it has over 35 dealers covering metro markets as Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore and tier II places as Pune, Chandigarh and Ahmedabad. Blueair is selling air purifiers ranging between Rs 45,000 to Rs 1.5 lakh. At present, Blueair is importing its products from Sweden. It has total three manufacturing plants in Sweden, China and the US.
