Brainsmiths, one of the major players of professional training courses in IIT –JEE/ AIIMS/ AIEEE/ AIPMT had forayed into franchising to develop their network across the nation on Francorp panel. Within a short span, Francorp has supported Brainsmiths successfully with its strategic approach in opening their four franchise centres in Karnal (Haryana), Ratlam (M.P), Modinagar (U.P), and Sehore (M.P).

Founded by Jean Thomas John, Anwar Sheikh and Abhay Gupta in 2001, Brainsmiths has achieved tremendous success in a short span and was incorporated as a Pvt Ltd company in 2004. Brainsmiths offers its franchisees the advantage of extensively studied research materials accompanied with internationally acclaimed faculties. Within 10 years of operations, Brainsmiths has acquired bench strength of more than 3000 students. With two centers in Indore and one in Aurangabad and many more being set up through the franchise route, Brainsmiths hopes to become the leader in education training space.

On the occasion, Jean Thomas John, Director, Brainsmiths said, “A major credit goes to Francorp and Franchise India for their outstanding contribution and strategic approach towards positioning us the leaders in educating training space which has given us the impetus to strive ahead. They are, obviously, experts in the fields and the scenarios that seemed tricky to us were solved by them in no time.”

Commenting upon the successful partnership, Gaurav Marya, President Francorp said, “The educational services industry at present is of the size of INR 7200 crore and is growing at a steady pace despite the global economic slowdown. The size of the opportunity that beckons entrepreneurs targeting this segment can be gauged from the fact that nearly four lakh students appeared for IIT-JEE and close to 10 lakh students appeared for AIEEE in the year 2009 out of which an enormous 80 per cent availed some form of coaching. To tap this phenomenal opportunity and penetrate in smaller towns, Francorp is developing a franchise network for Brainsmiths towards a pan-India footprint.”
