Dutch watch-phone brand Burg is planning to expand its business in India.

Dutch watch-phone brand Burg is planning to expand its business in India. Currently the brand operates owned and franchised outlets in cities like Delhi, Gurgaon, Kolkata, Guwahati and Bhubaneswar. In India, the brand’s products are marketed by Kolkata-based KG Retail Ventures Pvt. Ltd. Its Indian partner plans to increase brand’s presence via exclusive stores as well as shop-in-shop format. The company will launch Burg stores in Mumbai, Chandigarh, Jaipur and Ahmedabad by the end of this year. In 2013, the brand will enter Pune and southern India.

With an established international presence across continents, the Burg watch phone is the first and by far the leader of its kind. It caters those customers who do not prefer to carry a mobile phone while travelling or involved in any outdoor activity.
