Burger King, the global hamburger fast food restaurant chain has opened its largest outlet in India at Mumbai. The QSR chain was the first in the country to open 13 franchise restaurants across Delhi, Mumbai and recently Pune in less than six months of its launch. The brand was launched via Master Franchise route in India.
The newly opened restaurant is a 250-seater restaurant situated in one of the iconic locations of the city. The brand endeavors to tap the local youth and elderly population. Commenting about the location, Rajeev Varman, Chief Executive Officer, Burger King India says, “With numerous institutes in the vicinity, banking and business organisations around, premium residences in the adjoining area, the restaurant is sure to attract a great footfall.”
