Burger King, the American burger chain, launched its first store in Hyderabad. With the opening of this store, the brand now operates 32 restaurants across Mumbai and Navi Mumbai, Delhi NCR, Bengaluru, Pune, Chandigarh, Ludhiana, Jalandhar., the company said in a statement.
With robust expansion plans, the brand now plans to Priority expand its footprint across the southern region of India.
Commenting on the launch, Rajeev Varman, CEO, Burger King India said, We did not carry products from abroad but carried concepts and the cooking platform and ethos that Burger King is known for. Our India menu is quite innovative and we wish to offer our customers a whole new experience in burgers. We wish to create a distinct identity and taste that our consumers with resonate with.
The menu for India was tested through consumer research with 3000 consumers prior to the launch, he claimed and said that the diverse menu was accordingly created to ensure quality offerings across price-points.
In its endeavour to offer innovative and great tasting products to customers, the brand has recently introduced Hi-Fries in three variants Cheesy, Italian and Chicken. There is an easy upgrade to combo pricing where guests can upgrade any burger to a combo including fries and fountain drink at just Rs. 50 across the menu, he added.
