The Business Blasters initiative began at the School of Excellence, Khichripur, (Delhi) as a pilot project, in which nine groups of 41 children were formed, each child was given INR 1,000 as seed money, and was asked to make businesses with that money.

The Delhi Government has announced that successful students from the state government's Business Blasters project will be guaranteed college admissions and business incubation. The Delhi government will assist these kids in their future entrepreneurial efforts.

Manish Sisodia, Deputy Chief Minister and Education Minister of Delhi, announced the decision on social media. The Delhi government will assist and encourage these kids to pursue their dream of becoming entrepreneurs.

" @BB_official2021 succeeded beyond our wildest dreams! 51,000 biz ideas came from 3 lac students, of which 126 got investor funding. Delhi Govt is now supporting these young entrepreneurs to fulfill their vision with guaranteed admission to college & incubation for their startups," he tweeted.

Business Blasters was a Delhi government initiative aimed at encouraging students to think like entrepreneurs. It was intended for Delhi school kids in Classes 11 and 12. Participating students were required to pitch business ideas, and the government offered to assist them in refining their concepts. The effort was later supported by a television programme and was also broadcast on YouTube.

The Delhi government took the initiative to teach the Entrepreneurship Mindset Curriculum (EMC) to schoolchildren. The Business Blasters initiative began at the School of Excellence Khichripur as a pilot project, according to the government, in which nine groups of 41 children were formed, each child was given Rs 1,000 in seed money, and they generated significant profits.

The Delhi Government, on the launch event said that the negative aspect of the Indian education system was that, while students were educated, an entrepreneurial mindset was not instilled in them. Schools taught student to work hard and to be talented, but they lacked to fill them with the confidence to become entrepreneurs. These abilities of ours were absorbed by foreign corporations, which boosted the economies of those countries. EMC will change this picture and transform India into a country of educated and capable youth. That day is not far away when every child graduating from Delhi's schools will not ask for a job, but will create one.

From 2023, the Delhi government will expand Business Blasters to private schools in the National capital in order to include an entrepreneurial attitude into their curriculums.

Such initiative not only help student by moulding their ideas into reality but channelize the youth power at right place as well. A number of students will be motivated from it which will eventually help them grow.
