Cantabil Retail, an apparel manufacturer and retailer, is all set to have a pan-India expansion by opening 561 outlets by 2011.

Cantabil Retail, an apparel manufacturer and retailer, is all set to have a pan-India expansion by opening 561 outlets by 2011. Out of these, 150 will be company owned and rest will be franchised, confirms a company’s official.

The company is planning to open more stores in north India though its main focus will be on the southern region of India to strengthen its presence. For this, the company has plans to raise funds (Rs 105 crore) through an issue of Initial Public Offer (IPO) and invest Rs 25 crore for the expansion of the brand.

Presently, the company has 414 retail outlets mainly across the northern and western regions of the nation.
