Cartridge World, the leading printer cartridge recharging provider has recently opened its sixth franchised store in the Lake Town area of Kolkata.
As told to Ramanjit Kaur of FIHL, “After the Lake Town store we are set to launch our seventh store in Kolkata located at Kasba in January 2010 and three to four more stores in the coming year,” says Naveen Rakhecha, CEO, South Asia, Cartridge World.
Recently, the company announced its plans of taking the count of its stores in India to 250 by 2011. While speaking at the Franchise India Summit in New Delhi, Naveen Rakhecha, CEO (South Asia), Cartridge World summed up the advantages of franchising, “Franchising to me is infusing entrepreneurship. It brings the entrepreneurship skills right into the business. That is one of the major reasons we have also recently franchised our company-owned outlets which were opened at the initial stage.”
Presently, Cartridge World has 90 franchised outlets, over 70 operational retail stores and 7 shop-in-shops located in the Croma, the consumer durable retail arm of Infiniti Retail.
