Tell us about your brand.
Our brand was started in 2003, with shop-in-shop model and presently has some exclusive stores as well. Having our expertise in Shop-in-Shop, we are more focused on this model as it requires low investment. Currently, we have 300 POS across India with a strong online presence. We started franchising in August 2016 and successfully have 25 partners.
What is the USP of you brand?
The USP of our business is affordable and disposable fast fashion. Secondly, we run the business for our franchisee; it is like running a business on autopilot mode. Franchise don’t have to select the design as we already have presence across India, so we know what style and size is selling in which part of the country. And lastly, we provide 100 per cent stock correction, so they do not lose money.
What kind of services and support do you provide to your franchisees?
We provide them with a B2B portal where they can run and manage their business. We do everything, from selecting range to size to auto replenishment. They just have to download our POS and get it installed in their systems and update the sales regularly. Once sales are updated, their POs are automatically generated. Our people will connect with them in regards to dispatch the next stock. We do not sell the product, we consign it to them. Although we are running on a sales-or-return basis, but we provide 100 per cent stock correction to them. We are selling affordable, disposable and high fashion ladies footwear.
What are your expansion plans?
We are looking to open more Shop-in-shops with entrepreneurs having single or multiple stores in MBO formats (multiple brands in their shops). We are planning this for next season, and also looking at another 25 partners. Therefore, in a year, we are looking to open 50 outlets through this franchise model FMSiS (Franchisee Managed Shop-in-Shop). The market here is immense and it will take us some time, so we are focusing on our country as of now.
